In September 2020, all our classes returned to full-time education following the Covid-19 closure in March 2020. Although we hope that the majority of our children will now have an uninterrupted experience, there is the possibility that an individual child. class bubble, or indeed the whole school, will need to self-isolate for a period of time. (A further national lockdown could also take place.)
We have therefore put a remote learning plan in place so that all children can continue with their education and which meets the expectations set out in the DFE guidance, ' Remote Education Support'. If you have any queries about your child's home learning, please contact school between 9am and 3pm Monday to Friday on 01302 701353 or email admin@askernlittlemoor.doncaster.sch.uk.

If a child does not have access to a computer/laptop and/or the internet, the school will do all it can to support children and will provide paper packs of learning. Where funding can be accessed, remote devices (eg, laptops) and/or 4G connections will be sought, particularly for disadvantaged children. Parents will be reminded to make the school aware of any barriers to accessing remote learning. Paper copies will still be available.
In the event of any form of isolation and loss of learning caused by Coronavirus, parents must understand that engagement in home learning is compulsory,as is the expectation that Askern Littlemoor Infant Academy makes that provision available and accessible to all. However, if children themselves are too ill to attend then they should not be expected to engage in home learning and remote learning will not be provided.
