The Nest is a nurturing, sensory-rich environment within our school that provides tailored support for children who benefit from additional opportunities to develop their learning, communication, social and emotional skills. The provision offers a range of sensory experiences, structured learning activities and targeted interventions designed to meet individual needs and help children flourish.

Children access a balanced timetable, spending part of their day in their mainstream classroom and part of their day in The Nest. This enables them to remain fully involved in school life whilst receiving personalised support in a calm, supportive environment.

Through carefully planned activities, children develop confidence, independence, self-regulation, communication and interaction skills. The Nest provides a safe and welcoming space where every child is encouraged to succeed, make progress and achieve their full potential.
