‘Learning and Growing Together to Achieve’
Headteacher's welcome
I am incredibly proud to be the new Headteacher of Askern Littlemoor Infant Academy. On behalf of the children, staff and governors, I would like to warmly welcome you to our school website.
Littlemoor is a special place to work in so many ways. Visitors to our school often comment on the welcoming atmosphere and the approachable, professional and committed staff. We are also very lucky to have dedicated and highly effective governors, supportive and caring parents and super children. We have excellent resources and facilities, which contribute to a high-quality learning environment, both indoors and outdoors.
Our dedicated team of staff and governors are committed to ensuring that all our children reach their full potential. Every effort is made to make learning fun with a rich variety of activities, both within the curriculum and as part of our extended school day. Our aim is to establish and maintain high standards of learning and behaviour in a caring and welcoming environment to prepare your child for the future and give them the skills and enthusiasm to pursue learning for the rest of their lives.
Within Leger Education Trust, personal development or character education is known as our Aspire Curriculum. Character education is about important life skills children need to learn for their spiritual, moral, social and cultural (SMSC) development. We work hard to develop character traits in our children such as a positive attitude to learning, showing support to others, having persistence, integrity, resilience, and displaying effort- striving to be the best they can be.
This website is designed to give you an insight into the dynamic life and values of our school, the work of our pupils and the quality education we strive to deliver.
We are extremely proud of our school – if you would like to know more about us, please come and visit – both the children and staff look forward to welcoming you.
Best wishes,
Miss Danielle Snaith
