This Autumn Term, our School Council has been exceptionally busy, showing enthusiasm, responsibility and a real desire to improve our school community.
Class representatives were democratically chosen after presenting their ideas to their peers.
Throughout the term, councillors have led and supported a variety of charity and awareness events. They organised a highly successful Macmillan Cake Sale, raising £107 and helped the school raise £121.00 for Red Nose Day. The councillor's also supported school fundraising by selling products after school at our very successful Enterprise Event.
Beyond their fundraising work, School Council members have also played an active role in improving daily school life. They are currently focusing on enhancing playtime provision, exploring how different zones could be created on the playground—such as a reading corner, a creative activity table, and areas for den building.
We are incredibly proud of everything our School Council has achieved this term and look forward to the success of the Summer Term.
