The Healthy Learning, Healthy Lives Award
The Healthy Learning, Healthy Lives (HLHL) programme was created by Doncaster Council to improve the health and wellbeing of children and their families throughout the borough. Launched in January 2018, the programme comprises an online evaluation tool and awards programme with a website for sources of information, advice and guidance and support from the Public Health team. The programme assists learning environments with the application of policies and procedures that improve the lives of young people in Doncaster. Through the achievement of the HLHL award, educational settings are supported to meet a range of local and national priorities that benefit local families and their community.
We are very pleased to announce that Askern Littemoor Infant Academy has been awarded the Healthy Learning, Healthy Lives Award.
Flu Campaign Awards 2021/2022
We are very pleased to announce that Askern Littemoor Infant Academy has been awarded a Platinum award from the NHS for participating in the flu programme 2021/2022.
This award has been presented to our school in recognition of our outstanding achievement of having 92% of consent forms returned. By participating in the flu vaccination programme 2021/2022, we have protected our student’s health and wellbeing. We would like to thank all our parents and carers who completed the consent forms and enabled us to receive this recognition from the RDaSH Vaccination and Immunisation Team.
